Room was very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and shower excellent. Plenty of options for breakfast. Excellent hotel in a very nice location. Very little road noise. Double glazing keeps a lot of the noise out. The Hard Rock Cafe was beneath my room - but no noise at all. The air conditioning worked very well and was almost silent, very easy to control. Windows can be opened too. The mini fridge was completely silent. The TV had an anti-glare screen. Staff were very polite and helpful.

I absolutely loved the renovation of the lobby, removing the very small bar at the rear and the shop at the entrance and replacing them with a cafe and conference/business room. The seating area in between the two was a nice addition as well. The renovation of the bathrooms in the room replacing that very high bathtub with a walk in shower is very welcome and easier on my knees. The staff was fantastic and professional as always and the location just can't be beat.

The breakfast is very nice. However, we were there for it on a Friday am at about 9:30 and they never filled up the fruit bowls or the sausages! But overall, it was good. The bar was great. We really enjoyed speaking with our bartender, a young lady. Sadly, she told us that they are closing down the current bar ( which has been there forever) and remodeling and moving it. Too bad- it is a real part of the ambience of the The Platzl.

The size of the sleeping area and bathroom were amazing and the added bonus of the walk-in closet was unexpected. I also did not realize a butler would be carrying our luggage and helping us to our room. The mini bar kept fresh cold water and complimentary beer. The location was very near the famous Hofbräuhaus and steps away from the Marienplatz and a ton of restaurants and bakeries.

The location was very central and convenient to everything in the Old Town center. It was tucked away among the streets so was pretty quiet. They serve an excellent breakfast. Everything from an omelette station to freshly baked pretzels, cake, juices, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The small cafe in the lobby was great for a quick snack or drink.
